Come out and cheer for our athletes - Special Olympics is Friday, May 5th!

Last Friday, Hermann High FCS Hospitality Tourism Management students placed 🥈2nd in the GRO Rural Innovation Program Pitch Competition. Our Live Hermann team and their pride for their hometown was contagious! They were prepared, confident, and inspiring in their delivery; only falling short to Ash Grove by a narrow margin.
GRO Rural Innovation Program helps support and catalyze innovation and local entrepreneurship in rural Missouri communities. The program is being spearheaded by the Growth In The Rural Ozarks (GRO) team and is supported by an array of regional partners.
Beyond the competition, students participated in interactive round table discussions on the multiple roles of youth in community/economic development, a Hermann Trolley tour, and finally a tour of the White House Hotel. It was a day of celebrating youth innovation and community growth!
Thank you to GRO Hermann for this awesome opportunity, Hermann Chamber for hosting the regional pitch event, Hermann Hill for the hospitality, our pitch judges, Hermann Trolley and White House Hotel!
