Due to the high temperatures, tonight’s JCHS vs. Hermann volleyball game has been moved indoors. The tailgate scheduled before the game has also been canceled.
While we won’t be playing under the lights, we still hope our Bearcat community will come out and support these athletes and this special cause! 🧡🏐

🚨 NEW MISSOURI SCHOOL BUS LAW TAKES EFFECT FRIDAY 🚨
With school back in session, we want to make our community aware of an important change for Missouri drivers.
Beginning Friday, August 28, 2026, Missouri is increasing penalties for drivers who illegally pass a stopped school bus. 🚌
Under the new law, violations can result in increased fines, points on your driver's license and license suspension, with significantly greater penalties when a child is injured.
As our buses travel throughout the community each morning and afternoon, please remember:
🛑 Slow down and stay alert.
🛑 Watch for flashing red lights and an extended stop arm.
🛑 STOP when required.
🛑 Never risk passing a stopped school bus.

The Gasconade County R-1 School District invites our Bearcat community to join Jefferson City High School for a special outdoor volleyball game on Monday, August 31, at Adkins Stadium!
This event is about so much more than volleyball. Together, JCHS and Hermann will come together to celebrate women’s athletics and support a JCHS student who is currently fighting their own battle. Proceeds from special game-day shirt sales and funds raised at the event will be donated directly to the student’s family.
