2023 Commencement Ceremony will be held at Bearcat Memorial Stadium.

This week was just a small token to show our appreciation for all you do for our kids! We appreciate you every day, not just this week. Thank you to everyone who provided lunches, breakfasts, snacks and other appreciation gestures throughout the week.
The baseball team added a game at Elsberry today (5/11) with a start time of 5:00. It will be varsity and JV.
The Gasconade County Teachers Association (GCTA) donated and established a Little Free Library at Hermann City Park. Members of GCTA and their families gathered on Tuesday, May 9 to dedicate and stock the new library. The library is located at the playground near the swimming pool. The community is invited to share new or gently-used books and magazines through this library.
The May GCR1 School Board Meeting is Thursday, May 11th at 5:30 pm.

Thank you to Captain Leif Johnson who presented the Adopt a Pilot Program by Southwest Airlines to our 5th grade students. He spoke about physical science and math lessons, and the importance of staying in school. Captain Johnson has been visiting our school for almost 20 years!

Hermann Middle School Honor Society hosted the 2nd annual book drive/swap. They collected double the number of books over last year's total. Each donation was given a raffle entry for book prize packs & local gift cards. Pictured are raffle winners. Thank you to all who donated!
