Hermann had seven Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) compete at the State level this month.
Of those 7, Rane Rhemert, Reese Rehmert, and Ashley McGarrah placed in the top 10 in their events (see picture of their medals and Ashley's trophy). Ashley placed third and qualified for the National Leadership Conference! In addition, three of our state qualifiers, Blaine Klott, Iteara Christian, and Nolan Kopp (pictured) traveled to FBLA's State Leadership Conference in Springfield, MO this week to compete and participate in Leadership Sessions.

Athletic Update:
Both the Union middle school track meet and the Sullivan JV track meet have been cancelled for today. Neither meet will be rescheduled.

Accepting nominations for our Bearcat Employee Pride Award - due May 1st!
The Gasconade County R-1 Schools take pride in serving our students and families. We are looking to honor staff members who go above and beyond the call of duty (ex: showing excellent service to others, inspiring others with their actions/behaviors, special acts or service which positively impact the lives of others, etc.).
If you know a staff member (teacher, paraprofessional, aide, administrator, office staff, bus driver, custodian, etc.) who has made a difference in you or your student’s life, we want to hear from you!
We will honor all nominees, with one selected as our Bearcat Employee Pride Award winner of the year.

Today’s games at the Linn Tournament have been postponed. The championship game between Hermann and Belle is rescheduled for Wednesday, April 19th at 5:00.
Board Member update: Thank you Becky Whithaus and Craig Schannuth for your service and commitment to our district; they have completed their GCR1 Board service. We welcomed our new GCR1 Board Members last night. Welcome back to Mike Pratte and Jeff Englert, who will continue to serve and Ashley Kopp and Amy Grannemann who are new to our Board. Calling all princes or princesses throughout the land to dress up and join us for a lovely afternoon at Tiny Tea Party April 16th 12-3pm visiting various stations fit for royalty; participants can get Face Paint/Make Up, Manicures & UpDo, play Medieval Kid Games, make Crown/Shield Crafts, visit the Photo Booth, and enjoy Tea Party Sandwiches cookies, punch and more with their chaperone.
Walk-ins are welcome! RSVPs are appreciated for this event to help us ensure each prince and princess gets the royal treatment he or she deserves!
