Hermann's FFA Students have been busy since school started! Students had safety education, both here on our campus as well as at the University of Missouri Columbia, the Vienna FFA Trapshooting took 1st place with Brady Grosse scoring 3rd overall, the Floriculture class made flowers for a special event and our first year members and FFA officer team attended and competed in the Greenhand Leadership Conference - congratulations to our Rituals Team who placed 1st! Can't wait to see what October holds for our FFA Students!
Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing our 23-24 New Bearcats. Please help us welcome them to Gasconade County R-1. Morgan Grosse is teaching Rhythm and Movement at Hermann Elementary. Jamie Mires is teaching Special Education at Hermann High.

Good morning, HES parents! Over the course of this week, expect to receive an invite via email and/or text. Once you create your password, and login to Rooms in our Bearcats App, you will have access to the Front Office room where you can communicate with our front office. More classes will populate within Rooms over the course of the next month for convenient communication with classroom teachers.
FCCLA had a great September with a variety of community service learning activities. Students were introduced to business models by visiting Black Canvas, the Train Station and Three Rivers Electric Cooperative. Members completed acts of service and presented several local businesses with homemade jelly. Students spent time at the Village Dog Park harvesting pollinator seeds to share with the community. Thank you to local businesses like these for their support of student learning: Missouri Trading Post, Sugar Mommas, Terraflora, HAC, Espresso Laine, Sleigh Mountain, Hermann Lumber, Straussners Furniture, Blank Canvas, and The Vine.
