HMS Sixth Graders got to explore the Economy Museum at the St Louis Fed on Friday, March 28. While there, students learned about the decentralized structure of the Federal Reserve, how their purchases impact the economy, and about the creation and destruction of cash by the Federal Reserve. Students also had time to explore exhibits on decision making, trade, economy, and cash. A picnic lunch and time to explore a new park were a well-enjoyed next stop. At the end of the day, everyone got to go home with a free souvenir of shredded money!
