Come out this Wednesday to the Downtown Deli and support our Music Boosters!
We Honor our Veterans today - Thank You for Your Service!
Our Veterans Breakfast and Assembly were amazing! We honored and thanked our Veterans for all they have done for our country with a donation from Little Bearcats Day Care, Breakfast and an Assembly. Our FCCLA Student Leaders hosted the event and the HHS Wind Ensemble and Kammerchor provided wonderful music. Thank you to our Guest Speaker and Hermann High School graduate, Dr. James R. Grimes - former LCDR MC USN, for a wonderful tribute to our Veterans and to the VFW Post 4182 for posting the colors. Our Superintendent, Dr. Neill and our HHS Principal, Mr. Stutzman provided words of gratitude as they addressed the Veterans. We also want to thank our additional sponsors and volunteers who helped make this a great event: OPAA Food Service, Mr. Todd Anderson, The HHS Office, Janitorial Staff and Teacher and Student Volunteers. Thank you to all the Veterans who joined us today, we appreciate all you have done for our country!
We are ROARing with great behavior at HES!
Join us as we cheer on our Bearcat Basketball at their Preseason Scrimmage next week!

Dialogue is a safe, secure, and private way for our 6-12 students to seek help from state-licensed mental health professionals via virtual and telephonic counseling sessions from 7 a.m.-10 p.m. seven days a week free of charge. Students will have the opportunity to reach mental health professionals and schedule an appointment, even on the weekends or holiday breaks.
Dialogue mental health specialists can work with students who are struggling with depression, stress, eating disorders, addiction, relationship problems, anxiety, grief, and more. For more information, please go to https://www.dialcare.com/dialogue/ or contact Leslie Lause 573-486-2116x1306.
DESE and The Dollywood Foundation are working together to launch Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library across Missouri. Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is dedicated to inspiring a love of reading by delivering high-quality, age-appropriate books each month to the homes of registered children under age five, at no cost to the family.
The Missouri Imagination Library was made possible by legislation (Section 178.694 RSMo) that identifies school districts as the local partner for this initiative. Full funding was included in DESE’s Fiscal Year 2024 budget to establish and administer Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library for all children in Missouri age 0-5. The program opened on Nov 8th.
What a great program to start building reading skills! We wanted to share that the website has unprecedented demand right now, so please be patient.
1. On the front page of their website you will see a "can I register by child?" link.
2. Please click on that link to go to the page where you will click on the "get notified" button.
3. That will put your name on the list (email and first name) and you will receive a one time notification to sign up as soon as they are back to normal.
4. Follow this link for their website. https://imaginationlibrary.com/
