What a great turn out for our 3rd Grade Wax Museum! Our third graders researched a famous Missourian, created a slide show presentation, and dressed up to look like their subjects. The students did a wonderful job! Thanks to all the families who attended!

It's Read Across America Week! To celebrate kindergarteners read Dr. Seuss’ Bartholomew and the Oobleck. Then they made the Oobleck suspension for students to test out.
Power was restored last night. We will resume as normal. Thank you to all of those who worked in the cold and wind to get us up and running again.
This afternoon we had an incident with an electrical pole behind the middle school. The electric company will be shutting power off to the high school, middle school and central office at 3:20 pm. All practices have been canceled. All district phones will be down. If you are in need of contacting the district this afternoon, please call Leslie Lause at 573-832-2678.
FRESHMAN ORIENTATION NIGHT
For any current 8th grader, come to Hermann High School on Friday, March 7th at 6:00.
Last Friday, some high school students from the Art Club went to Pacific High School to participate in the fourth annual Four Rivers Conference Art Day. Each student was put in two different mini sessions that they were able to choose from. The options were painting with coffee, painting with chocolate, making mini clay foods, creating polymer clay pieces, and practicing some printmaking. At the end of the sessions, students were put into random groups to collaborate on a large 2D/low relief project with the "homage to food" prompt.
