Subject: Spring 2025 Missouri Assessment Program Individual Student Reports
Dear Gasconade County R-1 Families,
I hope this message finds you enjoying your summer. I am writing to share an update regarding the spring 2025 Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) Grade-Level Assessments (grades 3–8) or End-of-Course (EOC) Exams (high school), which your child completed last spring. These assessments measure student progress toward mastering the Missouri Learning Standards, which outline the knowledge and skills needed for success in college, post-secondary training, and careers.
The Individual Student Reports (ISRs) for these assessments are now available. These reports indicate your child’s achievement level—Below Basic, Basic, Proficient, or Advanced—and include a brief description of the skills typically demonstrated at each level.
For middle school students, ISRs will be distributed during parent-teacher conferences. For high school students, reports will be included with progress reports. If you would like to receive your child’s results earlier, please contact your child’s school office, and we will gladly provide a copy.
If you have any questions about your child’s report, please feel free to reach out. Thank you for your continued support of Gasconade County R-1 School District and for entrusting us with your children’s education.
Sincerely,
Dr. Leslie Lause
Associate Superintendent

We hope you have a happy and safe Independence Day!

All offices are closed until Monday, July 7th!

Congratulations to Coach Lampkin on her induction into the National High School Hall of Fame. It is a well deserved honor for a tremendous ambassador of Hermann High School and volleyball in the state of Missouri.

Faith Engemann recently attended the FFA Hymax Academy where she learned more about how to advocate for agriculture.

Summer school hosted many of our community helpers today as we were visited by local firefighters, police officers, and EMT's. We also had Dr. Tappmeyer from Hermann Vet Clinic and some HHS FFA members presented about ATV safety. Thank you to Kenna Fricke from the Health Department for organizing our event!

Scenic Regional Library has been a frequent visitor to summer school doing some creative activities for older grades and story time activities for our younger grades.

At summer school, our 6th-8th graders were able to play around with Ozobots earlier this week. These coding robots offer our students a creative STEAM activity to test their creativity!

Today our 4th-8th graders toured the Deutschheim State Historic site and learned about some of early history about the town of Hermann. Many students were led by HHS graduates on their tours!

15 members of the FFA officer team, along with their advisors, recently attended a 3-day, 3-night officer retreat at the Lake of the Ozarks. They rented a house, held meetings, set goals, planned the year's activities, incorporating a few new things, played games, and, most importantly, bonded. Each group of 4 planned a meal, shopped on a budget, prepared their meal, and cleaned up after. The trip ended with LEAD conference for chapter officers in Rolla. We are prepared for the new year!

School Board meeting tomorrow!
