Freshman Orientation Night will take place Thursday, February 17, 2021, at 6:00 pm. This event will take place in the Hermann High School auditorium. During this time, Ms. Creech, the High School Counselor, will present information to current 8th grade students and their parents. She will give students and parents a tour of the building and will walk you through the registration process, Individual Career and Academic Plans (ICAP), and the A+ Program.
Ms. Creech will meet with the eighth graders in their classrooms within the next 2 weeks to discuss course selection for ninth grade and help them complete the Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP).
Shadow Day at Hermann High School will be in March. More specifics for that day will be given at a later time. Students will be paired with a current freshman student and will shadow that student in his/her courses. This is a great opportunity for students to ask questions and get a feel for high school.
